Last week Crystal Dynamics announced a change in the way players would gain experience in the game. Basically the title will receive a considerable increase in the amount of experience required to reach the higher levels, as opposed to the implementation of levels of the base title which was rather easy.
But what was expected happened, the community has not reacted well to this situation and very strong complaints and criticisms are beginning to be heard in the forums. And it is that CD published in the game forum its justification for the decision it made and, regardless of whether it can justify it or not, the community took it with them.
Criticism and insults
Crystal Dynamics finds that leveling up so quickly doesn’t make you appreciate the amount of skills you unlock by doing so, you simply go from mission to mission without actually checking your character and their attribute kit. So slowing down the process will make you enjoy the difficulty curve more.

This is basic design and should have been implemented from the beginning, it is not bad to recognize it now but it seems that it is too late to implement it before a community that expects more content and no more difficulties.
The responses to its publication are quite harsh and many go from criticism to disparagement and insults, so most likely CD will withdraw and do not comment on it further. Right now the publication has zero votes in favor, only 26% of the readers have considered the message as positive and it is very difficult to get comments other than people aired by the next change.
This situation comes precisely when it seemed that the game was raising its head with new content, Clint Barton will arrive on March 18 with the new mode of leveling up, and we will see if Square and CD decide to keep the changes or not.
