Attack on the Titan Final Season is approaching its final episode and Crunchyroll has a brand new trailer for it Build the hype. The final episode of this season will be episode 16, which airs March 28, but it’s not exactly clear how she’ll wrap up the story.
As you might have guessed from the direction of this season, the trailer for the last episode features a lot of battles. The trailer doesn’t reveal much and often cuts from one bloody or explosive scene to the next without spoiling much of what is to come.
One thing that fans might find a little strange is that the trailer’s title specifically states that it’s for the Season finale, not the series finale. This is especially noteworthy because the attack on Titan Manga, which supplies the anime with its source material, does not end until April 9 and is already well ahead of the anime. So what’s next?
After this “finale” there are some options for the anime series. The easiest way to round off the story is with a completely different ending to what the manga will have. Since the anime has followed the manga so far, it’s unlikely that the show will simply end here or create an entirely different ending.
Another possibility is that Attack on the Titan Final Season will actually have a second part that could air sometime later this year or even in 2022.
The final chapters of the manga could also be wrapped up in a feature film or two. With the last one resounding success of Demon Hunter A film that turned a full arc of the manga into a nearly two-hour film could be the perfect finale for a series as popular around the world as attack on Titan.
We don’t have an official word yet about what the future will look like attack on Titan. For now, the fans have to be content with that Attack on the Titan Final Season‘s “Season Finale” on March 28th and the final chapter of the manga due to be released on April 9th.
