Official images of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro have been leaked

After today’s presentation of the Asus ROG Phone 5 and its older brothers, and the OPPO Find X3 Pro of tomorrow, the next mobile that will catch our attention will be the OnePlus 9, which will be accompanied, at least, by the 9 Pro.

We already know several things about these models, but today we saw for the first time the press images that confirm their design, especially with regard to the cameras.

Same differences as in the OnePlus 8

At first glance, looking at the front and back of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, we see differences that already existed with their predecessors.

For starters, the 9 Pro’s screen is curved just like the 8 Pro’s, but the 9 remains flat, as we saw on the OnePlus 8T. And yes, the OnePlus 8 had a slight curvature, but it’s now the hallmark of the firm’s most powerful models.

What does not change is the perforation of the front camera, which is housed in the upper left corner although the tendency is now to place it in the center.

We’re also seeing more cameras on the Pro model, which makes us think the OnePlus 9 will continue to lack a telephoto lens. I wish OnePlus would bring it back like it did on the 7T.

Plastic body on the OnePlus 9?

One of the details that Roland Quandt, the maker of this leak, noticed is that on the edge of the OnePlus 9 there are no cut lines for the antennas. This could imply that the body of this model is not made of metal, which would lower the price.

As for the OnePlus 9 Pro, Hasselblad branding is seen on the back again, which promises a new level of photography, at least according to company officials. It will have to be analyzed to verify it.
