Twitter is considering updating its platform with some interesting news. In anticipation of a button to cancel sent messages, the popular app would also test an improved design to share images and support 4K.
These features will be rolled out to some users in the coming weeks. So many will begin to display full images on the timeline without reducing dimensions, as usual. They’ll also be able to send higher-resolution videos, but for now, it looks like 4K support will only be available for stills.

“Sometimes it’s better to say it with a picture or a video. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be testing ways to improve the way you can share and view media on Twitter. Ongoing test on Android and iOS: When you tweet a single image, the appearance of the image in the Tweet composer matches how it looks on the timeline: bigger and better.“
Those users chosen for the test, the duration of which is unknown, you will see in your configuration options, the ability to update your high quality image preferences in the “Data Usage” option.
This improvement would imply that individual photo tweets will now appear on the timeline as a single photo, rather than a cropped preview that you must select to view.
Besides this feature, Twitter has a few other new things to roll out in the coming months, such as its Clubhouse alternative, Twitter Spaces, som, and the new Super Follow feature.
