News hardware PS4: The community function will expire in April
The Communities function was launched in September 2015 with the PS4 update 3.0 and will no longer be available on the Sony console from next April.
The end of the communities was announced a few weeks ago with the entry into the beta of Update 8.50. It is now dated April, as noted by Sony on the PlayStation website. The manufacturer does not give an explanation for the disappearance of this feature, which makes it possible to create or join a group of players with common interests for easy chat, share screenshots / videos or play together. Note that communities are already missing in the new PlayStation mobile application that launched last October.
