It is not necessary to have a subscription to PlayStation Plus to enjoy free – or really free – games that, as long as they are installed on the console, do not require any online registration to be played as much as desired. During 2020, the ‘Play at Home’ initiative gave us –without any conditions– Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Y Journey, while from March 1 to 31 of this year it is available Ratchet & Clank as one of the free games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Although Sony had originally reported that it would give away three more games during April, May and June (not yet announced), the ‘Play at Home’ program will expand its free offers from March 25, focusing on indie titles, PlayStation VR games and expanding the trial time of the Funimation app until April 22 (where available).
What are the free games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?
Starting from March 25 (at 10pm Colombia time) and for a limited time, players will be able to download at no additional cost, to enjoy indefinitely and without the need for PlayStation Plus, titles such as Abzû, Enter The Gungeon, REZ Infinite, Subnautica, The Witness, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper Y Paper Beast.
This astonishing selection of original PlayStation 4 and PS VR games will be available for download until April 22 at 10:00 pm Colombia time.
As if this is not enough from April 19 (at 10pm Colombia time) the same promotion will offer the Guerrilla Games title, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition. This game of 2017, one of the most important of the platform that includes expansion The Frozen WildsIt can be downloaded for free until 10:00 pm on May 14.
