Another wave of bans announced for Warzone and Raven promises even more bans in the future

announced, Bans, future, promises, Raven, Warzone, Wave

Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software has confirmed that yesterday, March 16, a new wave of bans came out, and there is “more to come” in the future.

Last month, Call of Duty: Warzone banned a group of players, and Raven Software promised more in the future. A tweet was posted on February 9 announcing the bans, shortly after another giant wave occurred, so with the latest tweet that went live today, I would expect continuous waves to continue to occur at least once a month. There were no details on how many cheaters were banned this time, but the massive ban in early February said goodbye to 60,000 cheaters.

With the start of Season 2 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, came a collection of new glitches and hacks that were affecting gamers, including the resurgence of the Call of Duty: Warzone glitch and a strange exploit / glitch that caused the games will end early. Recently, I came across several players using a map clipping exploit to shoot me from under the map; fortunately, Raven Software rectified this exploit a few days ago. And the actor who plays Mara livestream two Twitch streamers cheating on Warzone and banned them both, so it’s great to see some jerk consequences that make Warzone no fun.

While Warzone cheats are persistent, so is Raven Software, and it’s good that they are banning cheats on what appears to be on a regular basis.
