Zen Studios announced the return of Pinball FX to consoles and PC a couple of months ago and today it has confirmed the platforms to which its game will actually arrive, which was already a third part in the last generation. In addition, they have shared a teaser game trailer (courtesy: Gematsu).
The reception of the game has not been the most anticipated, the videos of Zen Studios have been subject to criticism for the format chosen on YouTube, however, it is clear that there are many players attentive to a new installment of Pinball. The Hungarian studio has been working on these for more than a decade and they have “tables” themed of DOOM, Star Wars or Jurassic Park.
The return of Pinball
This Pinball FX seems to be a reboot of the saga, these types of games do not usually have a continuous history, but the truth is that the game has lost the number since chronologically it played Pinball FX 4. It will not be like that, but we will receive a delivery that will try better than the previous ones in terms of content.
Zen considers it its most ambitious delivery by adding a battle royale mode in the style of Tetris 99. In addition, they promise weekly challenges, clan system, graphic improvements, tournaments, competitive modes and a new way to be part of the community through the game . In addition, they promise a very entertaining career or story mode along with thematic tables of important franchises.
Pinball FX debuted in 2007 on Xbox Live Arcade, the game was exclusive to the 360 and gained popularity with the advent of themed tables. In 2013 the sequel would even replace the first installment in the store and finally in 2017 the third part was released to mixed reviews.
Now things have not started easy with this restart since one of the confirmed platforms has been Epic Games. Which rules out the possibility of buying the game on Steam for at least a year. In any case, it will also arrive on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Switch and will do so this year.
