There are few who remember the third-person shooter of ‘Binary Domain’, a video game released in 2012 by the Yakuza Team, the same producers of ‘Yakuza’. Now there are quite a few chances that Daisuke Sato will do a remastering of the remembered game, but he would make some changes to it that would include redoing a few parts.

This remastering would be focused on the new generation of consoles and this would justify the need for these changes, since originally when it was released in 2012 it was for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Now, Sato is aware that following the success of ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ in the West, it is a good time to bring these games, because now players are more interested in samurai than before and it is not a question of missing the opportunity.

When asked about his intention to explore other genres other than the ‘Yakuza’ room, he stated that: “I think that for the most part we will keep doing what we know and do well, however, that does not mean that we will only make action games, because we will make decisions about the genre that best fits the game we develop“.

A well-set shooter

For those who had the opportunity to play ‘Binary Domain’, they will remember that it was set in a post-apocalyptic world, with its cities and semi-destroyed buildings.

There, a soldier is personified in 2080 who must travel to Japan to face a cyber threat represented by robots that, as a strange thing, detest the human race. This magnificent game gave players the opportunity to access exclusive weapons for both the campaign and multiplayer.

The protagonist Daniel Marshall must lead his Rust Commando to capture the robot leader of the dissidents and while they arrive at this cybernetic boss they must face a whole contingent on the way ready to liquidate them.
