We’ve known about The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for quite some time, but outside of a few brief CGI trailers of the game, we haven’t seen what it will actually look like to play. Fortunately, the wait for our first look at the gameplay is over thanks to a new trailer for the project that has emerged recently.
The latest trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which you can see at the top of the page, gives us a “sneak peek” of what the game will bring us. As much as the title suggests, players will control Gollum throughout the experience, though what you’ll do has not been proven so far. This new video of the game gives us some views of the raw game, but the problem is that we are not shown much yet.
Once again, since this is a trailer, it should not be expected that Daedalic Entertainment will be ready to show much of the project. Still, if you were wondering whether or not you could run, walk, and crawl like Gollum in this game, those amazing gameplay elements have now been confirmed in this trailer. While this trailer may leave us wanting a bit more, it’s good to see that Daedalic could be ready to talk more about the game in the coming months.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum does not currently have a release date, but is scheduled to release sometime in 2022. Whenever it arrives, it will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation. 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
