More than four months after the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, players are starting to keep their eyes on the next installment, which, like every year, should arrive between late October and early November.

Consulted by sources and verified by EurogamerThe information revealed by ModernWarzone would be well confirmed: Call of Duty 2021 would take place during World War II and would be developed by Sledgehammer Games, which had the origins of Call of Duty: WWII, which was released in 2017 and in which the series already reverted to its Origins.
According to ModernWarzone, the next installment of the famous FPS license reportedly codenamed Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard and would take place at least partially in the 1950s. After the war ended for most of the countries in 1945, ModernWarzone is moving forward the idea of a Second World War that would not have endedbut can’t confirm anything. Other sources suggest this the Korean WarHeld from 1950 to 1953 might be the focus of the campaign, but it’s the first hypothesis that holds the string. In any case, the Call of Duty 2021 would only be developed by Sledgehammer Games, at work in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. At the moment Activision has not announced the next licensed title and we will have to wait for an official announcement to find out when the developers want to take us over.
