Cyberpunk 2077: Update: Patch 1.2 available – patch notes as well

Cyberpunk, Notes, patch, update

The long-awaited patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 is apparently about to be released. The patch notes are already available and the list of fixes is immensely long.

Update

Patch 1.2 is available now and it’s bloody big. Have fun with the download and keep your fingers crossed that there won’t be any new bugs. So far, the PC and console versions are available, the Stadia version will follow in the course of the week.

Original message March 29, 2021 – 11:07 a.m.

CD Projekt RED had announced several patches after the Cyberpunk 2077 bug disaster. The 1.2 update was a long time coming, not least due to a hacker attack a few weeks ago in which a lot of internal data was accessed and the entire infrastructure was impaired. Now the long-awaited update is finally nearing release for all platforms (PC, consoles, Stadia).

An exact date has not yet been announced, but the patch notes have already been published. Accordingly, the update should be in approval and only a short time away from the release. The update should fix an enormous amount of bugs. The patch notes cover over 500 problems that should be fixed with the update.

This includes improvements in the behavior of the NCPD, the vehicle control and a lot more. In addition, numerous quest bugs and open world problems are fixed. The same applies to display errors, AI behavior, graphics, audio and animation. To list everything here would go completely beyond the scope. If you want, you can get the Update 1.2 patch notes but check out the official website. In the end, it only remains to be hoped that the update will not result in new bugs.
