Disney +, the video-on-demand service from the big-eared company, is back with a busy schedule in April! After the introduction of the “Star” category on February 23, a category that especially offers films and series for an older audience (Alien, American Dad), the catalog continues to grow. This month will mainly be marked by the release of already popular productions.
Red sparrow
Worn by Jennifer Lawrence, Red sparrow is a spy thriller released in 2018 and directed by Francis Lawrence (Hunger Games, Kings, I’m a legend), which ends up in the Disney + Star catalog. A young ballerina with a broken career is forcibly recruited by the Russian secret services. Using seduction and manipulation as weapons, she must take on her first target, an undercover CIA agent in Russia. The cast also relies on the presence of Joel Edgerton (Warriors, The Great Gatsby, Zero Dark Thirty), Matthias Schoenaerts (Suite Française, the Danish girl) and Charlotte Rampling (Broadchurch, The Damned).

Atlanta (S1 and S2)
First broadcast on FX in the US, the popular series Atlanta was born from the imagination of Donald Glover, also known by the stage name Childish Gambino. Earn and Alfred, two cousins who live in Atlanta, try to fight their way through the troubled world of rap in Atlanta while facing racial, economic, and even parental problems. If the third season is still awaited by viewers, the first two will soon be available on the SVOD platform. Screenwriter David E. Kelley, who previously appeared on Big Little Lies and Big Sky, will be seen shortly Close up, all new Disney + Original series, created in collaboration with Dean Lorey (My family first, iZombie). A college basketball coach is laid off and forced to take a new job as a physical education teacher at a private girls’ school. A series by John Stamos (Scream Queens, House Party, Emergency) which was also due to the participation of Jessalyn Gilsig (Vikings) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community).

Falcon and the Winter Soldier Finale
series Falcon and the winter soldier continues its course every Friday, ending with a sixth episode scheduled for April 23rd. This first season features two characters who have appeared multiple times in the Avengers film saga or in the Captain America films that starred Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan on screen. The series takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, while Sam Wilson now owns Captain America’s Shield. The two men have to face the group of Flag-Smashers or even Helmut ZemoN 2.

Avengers: Infinity War
The followers of the Marvel Universe can check this out Avengers: Infinity War (2018) on the Disney + platform. The Joe and Anthony Russo feature film offered us to reunite the Avengers to thwart the terrible Thanos’ plans and get their hands on the Infinity Stones. This great mission is primarily aimed at preventing the complete destruction of the universe. A production in which we find key faces like those of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, Wanda, Vision, Loki or Doctor Strange.
