Ted Timmins, director de Far Cry 6, replied to a user via Twitter about the state of the game. This player also asked when we would see gameplay for Far Cry 6, the latest installment of one of Ubisoft’s most popular games.
Timmins was in a conversation with several developers on Twitter in which they discussed what was the most hidden Eastern Egg that they had put in a video game. It was at this point that Timmins took the time to respond to this player who may not have been expected to respond.
Just for a bit longer but we have exciting content to show. Hope you’ll like it! pic.twitter.com/OnYNBDCxGv

As you can see, it looks like we’ll just have to wait a little longer to see more of the Ubisoft game in action. Far Cry 6 was released in July of last year with a spectacular cinematic trailer that revealed the main antagonist, Anton Castillo, explaining to his son what mindset he must have to be a dictator. In addition, Giancarlo Esposito was the one who played Castillo, so the high production values were confirmed.
A few weeks later its launch was confirmed for January 2021 on previous and current generation consoles, but we would not take long to hear about its delay. The entire industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, so right now there is not even a launch date.
However, if the initial plan was in January, we can imagine that at least they can show us something about the game. And apparently it is like that, but they have really told us that we will see something soon, but what or when only “it will be very exciting”.
Far Cry became known worldwide as a franchise with the third installment, the open world shooter became popular and is well remembered for the presence of Vaas, played by Michael Mando. Coincidentally, both Mando and Esposito belong to the Breaking Bad franchise, so it is clear that Ubisoft are fans of the series.
Far Cry 6 is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC in 2021.
