Hitman was available for free on the Epic Games Store in August 2020. But only the basic version. Now you have the possibility, again for free, of this version upgrade to the Game of the Year Edition.

What does the GOTY Edition offer?
In contrast to the basic edition, which only contains the main program, the GOTY edition provides a whole Range of bonus contentthat came out after the actual game was released. These are:
- All content from Season 1
- Bonus-Kampagne: »The Patient Zero«
- Three thematic escalation contracts
- Three Bonus Outfits
- Three additional weapons
Is Hitman Worth It?
Although the name does not suggest it, Hitman from 2016 is already the sixth installment in the series. As with all parts of the assassin series, this one also relies on non-linear gameplay in open sandbox levels. Your job is always to complete a specific assassination target.
In the test we enjoyed it, if not unreservedly: At the time we criticized the textures and models as well as the shootings. At the same time, however, we were impressed by the level design, the various gadgets and the huge locations.
