The new from Playtonic prepares to arrive on Xbox platforms in 2021

The past ID @ Xbox has brought us a series of curious indies. Among them, we could highlight the work of Playtonic Friends and Fabraz Demon Turf: a curious 3D platform, which is not “so 3D”. As Beebz, a demon barely 1000 years old, players will claim the various “turfs” of the demonic world, defeat the Demon King and claim the throne for themselves. As we saw during the ID @ Xbox showcase, Demon Turf brings us a new take on the platform genre with its unique 2D / 3D art style, as well as a world filled with simple humor and attitude. punk.

Every week, the Fabraz team brings us a new demo of the game on Steam. Except this is not a demo to use, as the Demon Turf Trials launch a new challenge and present new markers for players to compete against. Reaching the top of the leaderboards and immortalizing achievements is part of the allure of the game, and winners receive limited edition jerseys. On the other hand, the trials bring with them tutorials and two full levels of the game, all for free!

  • Lots of secondary content: 50 special locations or characters to complete our gallery. 25 arenas with challenges full of enemy hordes. 10 Demonic Gold Games that will take the ball hitting game to unexpected levels. 8 cartridges that bring with them glorious levels of 3D platforms from the past.
  • Fabian Rastorfer, Game Lead and Artist at Fabraz comments: I’ve always wanted to create a 3D platformer, they’ve been my all-time favorites. Having played my whole life on every console. With our 2D rig, Slime-san, we got a lot of kudos for the rig’s accuracy, so we wanted to see if we could bring it to 3D.
