In accordance with mp1st.com, Capcom would have added to the PlayStation Store several files called “Resident Evil Village Gameplay Demo”. In fact, there are four digital inventory units, one for each region: America, Europe, Asia, and Japan. And it is that in Japan there are simply less bloody scenes and the name changes to “Biohazard”.
These files also weigh around 10 GB and in theory would be the first truly “playable” demo of Village. And it is that the first, called Maiden, could be played but the character had hardly any available actions and represented a visual showcase of the title exclusively for PlayStation 5.
The real demo
For its part, this demo comes with a more important playable load compared to the final product. That is, there will be weapons, enemies, puzzles and everything that a Resident Evil implies. It is very likely that these files, which are in the backend of the store, have to do with the showcase that Capcom and Sony announced today. This is scheduled for April 15, so there is a week left for us to test it.
And it is that this streaming comes from Sony, so it is not clear if other platforms will be able to test the game that same day. Capcom promised more demos and for everyone, so we doubt there won’t be at least one demos before its release a month from now.
For its part, today we were also supposed to be able to play the Resident Evil: Re: Verse beta, but it seems that will not be the case since Capcom had to suspend due to connection errors that are under investigation.
In any case, Village seems to be one of the most anticipated games, it has a lot of hype around it, but also the good reputation of the latest Capcom titles, so it seems that we are facing a possible game of the year.
