Most recently, the Resident Evil 3 remake has been leaked, but the official announcement is pending. Even if this should not take place within the framework of The Game Awards 2019, it should still be ready in the new week.
Following the leak of Resident Evil 3 Remake, it has been widely believed that the official announcement will be made with further information as part of The Game Awards 2019 next week. However, host and producer Geoff Keighley has already rejected this assumption, even though there will be ten new announcements during the award ceremony.
Nevertheless, the announcement of the horror remake in the new week – and thus a year before – could go on stage. That suggests at least one more leak. According to this reliable source in the past, Resident Evil 3 Remake will be released on Tuesday in Sony's recently confirmed new release of the video format "State of Play".
What's more, the leak even suggests that the horror remake should be a "big focus" on the new show, which is said to take a total of around 20 minutes. Probably will be in the course of a first trailer with first gameplay to see.
Given how comprehensively the Resident Evil 2 remake has been adapted to today's circumstances, it will be interesting to see what's new in Capcom's remake of Part 3. Whether in the context of the "State of Play" then a release date is called, remains to be seen. Rumor has it that Resident Evil 3 will be remake in fall 2020.
