We’re just months away from the highly anticipated release of the eighth installment of what is arguably the most famous horror video game franchise in history, resident Evil. But Resident Evil Village won’t be the only title in the Capcom saga we can enjoy this year, as its new multiplayer proposition, RE: Verse, will also arrive.
To make the wait for the official launch of the two titles more auspicious, the RE: Verse beta began on April 8, and while it was originally scheduled to run until April 11, unfortunately it couldn’t be. And it is that recently Capcom announced the premature closure of the RE: Verse beta due to multiple failures in title matchmaking.
【Regarding the RE: Verse OBT】 As we are still seeing issues with the RE: Verse OBT matchmaking service, we have decided that until further notice to temporarily suspend the OBT to resolve the issue. We will continue to investigate and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Resident Evil RE: Verse beta could go live again in the coming days
Since the launch of this free technical trial, many users have reported multiple issues while trying to find a game. It is for this reason that Capcom has decided to cancel the beta until it finds a solution to these problems.
Currently, we will not be able to access the beta, however, Capcom is currently investigating the reasons for these errors, and it is quite possible that they will reactivate the technical test of RE: Verse in the coming days.
For now, we have to wait for the next news from Capcom to see if we can finally enjoy RE: Verse before its launch on May 7. My recommendation is that you stay signed in to Generation Xbox to be up to date with all the news.
