Many Samsung phones launched in Europe have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, like its high end. Additionally, many models offer a variable refresh rate, allowing you to switch between the options offered there. To have more control over it, there is an application that we can download on our Galaxy mobile.
This app is Galaxy Max Hz, a free application for Samsung mobiles, which will allow you to have better control over said refresh rate. The application will give you better control over its operation and configuration on your Galaxy mobile.
Refresh rate: what is it and why it matters in gaming phones
What is the screen refresh rate? The progression of sample games increasingly shows us this term – find out why it matters.
It’s Galaxy Max Hz: control the refresh rate on Samsung
A common problem with many Samsung phones is that you only have two options when setting the refresh rate: the maximum refresh rate (120Hz on some models) and the standard rate. Galaxy Max Hz will allow users have more control over this aspect, having more possibilities, such as using a 90Hz refresh rate. The possibilities will depend on each phone, as not all have a hidden refresh rate that they support.
When installing the application on a Samsung mobile, we will have access to a series of functions. Here is the list of functions offered by Galaxy Max Hz:
- Control the maximum refresh rate and force a stealth mode at 96Hz (on supported devices).
- Allows you to add a button in the quick settings to easily change the refresh rate.
- Enable adaptive refresh rate mode on unsupported devices.
- Allows you to set the minimum refresh rate value for adaptive mode to 60Hz or less.
- Force lower refresh rate when screen is off.
- See real-time refresh rate with a monitoring tool.
Samsung phone users can thus have great control over the refresh rate, adapting it to whatever situation they use the device in. Galaxy Max HZ does not need root access on the phone, although ADB will need to be done. On the app’s Github page, you can see the steps for using and installing it.
This application can be downloaded for free on your mobile, available at this link. Inside there are advertisements, which you can remove in a single payment, which also gives you access to its premium version with a series of additional functions with which you have more control over said refresh rate.
