“I myself am researching various forms of entertainment. In the future, we will focus on creating new game series and long-term best-selling products such as Mario and Zelda.”
When it comes to new hardware, Furukawa is a bit annoying, and it seems that he is not ready to announce any news about the rumored next-generation Switch. however.
He said: “We have been building ideas for the new game consoles that the market expects, but due to technology and cost constraints, there are some things we cannot accomplish now.”
He said: “The hardware and software development teams are in the same building, communicate closely and think about how to come up with new entertainment methods.”
“In order to create a single piece of hardware, we have to do a lot of preparatory work years in advance, so we are constantly working. Finally, the deciding factor in deciding whether to commercialize a product is whether it can create a new experience.”
