In the loot shooter Outriders, not only equipment is important to be able to survive the missions. Your class with its skills also plays a big role.
But which paths should you take in order to get the most out of your character with the skills? You can of course try this out in the game – or conveniently using a tool in your browser.
What is the tool intended for? You may know the situation. Your hero rises in Outriders and you can distribute points on the skills. But which ones are really good? If you choose the “wrong” one, you might get annoyed later. Respec is possible, but wouldn’t it be better to try a character build before you assemble it in-game?

How does the build tool work? First you choose one of the classes:
You will then see the complete skill tree of the class and are now allowed to unlock skills. You have 20 class points at your disposal. So as many as you get up to the current maximum level 30.
Whenever you have selected a new skill, the stats that you can see in the lower area of the website change. So you can immediately see how your character changes through the choice of a skill. At the moment it is not yet possible to include armor mods. Therefore you get an approximate picture on the page. Armor mods can also be used to strengthen skills.
In addition, you can calculate the damage caused by weapons. To do this, you provide the appropriate information about clip size, RPM, DMG and reload of your weapon and everything will be calculated exactly for you.
So you don’t need to start Outriders and experiment yourself, just use the tool, set the skills and then see directly whether this is the way you want to go in order to be as effective as possible and to cause a lot of damage. In the game you simply skill your hero just like you did before in the Broswer and experiment with armor mods, which you unlock by dismantling items.

What’s the downside? As an online game, Outriders, like other games in this genre, keeps getting updates. These also change the balance by adjusting the values of skills and weapons. In addition, armor mods are still missing at the moment. At the current time, the tool is suitable for an initial assessment and planning of the appropriate build.
The developers of the »Breadbuilder« then have to transfer these changes to the tool. So it is possible that something changes to the builds due to an Outriders update and you can only test these changes using the tool a few days later.
