Sky: The title of Son of Light will change this spring

Journey and Flower developer thatgamecompany will release “Sky: Children of Light” in June this year.

Currently available on AppStore and Google Play, Sky: Son of Light It is a free social adventure game that provides cross-play function for players between mobile devices and game consoles.

Since its debut in July 2019, the game has focused on compassion, friendship and altruism within the game and its community. The game has received multiple accolades, including Apple iPhone Game of the Year, Google Play Best of 2020 Award, SXSW Mobile Game of the Year and GDC Audience Award.

Since its release, the world has expanded to nine adventurous seasons, multiple “days” events, and special events to raise funds for non-profit organizations.

In 2020, supporters of the game raised $1 million in COVID-19 relief for “Doctors Without Borders”.

This month, the studio released “Assembly Season”, a new narrative arc that focuses on a lone scout who needs to rebuild an abandoned tree house while losing relatives.
