Sony may be about to announce a new video service called PlayStation Plus Video Pass.

According to the VGC report, a list with logos and logos appeared on the company’s Polish website PlayStation Plus Video Pass.

The description pointed out that this service is “a new advantage” provided on PlayStation Plus for a limited time. The trial service date is listed as April 22, 2021 to April 22, 2022, and it will be available to all PS Plus users in Poland.

The list was eventually deleted, but featured promotional images from Sony Movies, such as Bloodshot, Venom, and Zombieland: Double Tap.

Back in March, Sony announced that it would close the movies and TV shows section of its PlayStation store. By August 31, PlayStation users will no longer be able to buy or rent movies or TV series from the platform. All content that has been purchased is still available.

Therefore, this new service is likely to be one of the reasons why Sony stopped purchasing media features from the PS Store.

If more information is available, or Sony confirms the news, we will update this post.
