And now for something essential: Is your device compatible with the new Apple tvOS 14 operating system?
Devices compatible with Apple TV tvOS 14
TvOS is Apple’s iOS-based operating system that brings Apple TV media players to life. Currently they are available Apple TV 4K and the Apple TV HD. Both devices will be able to update their operating system to the latest version of tvOS 14 when available.
On the other hand, beyond the official Apple players, Apple TV is an application designed for media content which is also available on other series of devices (even if they are not from Apple).
Among those devices (which obviously don’t work with the tvOS operating system) are Samsung smart TVs or even media players like Roku. You can check the devices compatible with Apple TV in the Apple official site.
