In late April, some players will be able to download the game a little earlier in a technical soft launch for Google Play. The game takes place before the Geralt of Rivia era, so it doesn’t require a thorough understanding of the books, video games, or Netflix customization. There will still be stories and quests in the game, similar to the main RPG systems, for those looking for that fantasy lore.
Witcher use the game’s augmented reality exploration elements to run through their real-world neighborhoods and face fantasy beasts and enemies with RPG-inspired combat. Between battles, players can brew potions, make bombs, and admire their trophies.
The witcher: Monster slayer will be released later this year on Android and iOS with a free model.
