A few

From today and on until January 26, Nintendo switchch Online users in Japan are allowed to access the entire Fire Emblem Warriors It's free. The game will be closed after that date (unless you buy the full item), but if you have plenty of time over the next few days you can really see how much it all costs at a low price.

Even if you don't live in Japan, however, there are exercises you can use to get your hands on this game. You will need to sign up for an active Nintendo Switch Online Anyway, but assuming you have it covered, here's how to play Fire Emblem Warriors for free outside of your account area.

Step 1 – Get a Japanese account

First of all, you'll need a Japanese Switch account to access the eShop of that region and download the free version of the game. We have a complete, detailed guide to do this here if you need step-by-step instructions, but for anyone who knows how to set up a Nintendo account, you really need to go further Official website and sign up with a new, unused email address, making sure you choose & # 39; Japan & # 39; as your region and follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure you activate this account on Nintendo Switch your console – just go to Settings> User> Install User and log in using your new account details.

Make sure you choose & # 39; Japan & # 39; Country / Destination!

Step 2 – Download Fire Emblem Warriors & # 39; Free Version

If you followed Step 1 correctly, clicking the eShop icon on your switch should now give you the option to download the store using your new Japanese account. Do this, then scroll down one tab to the left of the eShop (option below & # 39; New & # 39;). On this page, you should see a picture of Fire Emblem Warriors sticking to 40% of the attachments.

Click on this, and then select the red button already displayed when the page loads. This will bring up a download page for this free version – click the orange and white box at the bottom right of your screen to download the software.

Step 3 – Temporarily change your Nintendo Swap Account

So, you have created a Japanese account and you have free software downloaded to your switch. Great stuff, but unless your Japanese account is registered to Switch Online, you'll never be able to play the game. However.

Free software looks at two things when you try to play it: whether you are enrolled in switchach Online, and whether your account is Japanese. Now, you can choose to buy another switchch Online subscription for that Japanese account and use that, but the best – and most comfortable way to do this is, temporarily change the region of your main account that already has a subscription.

Video below Famicast explains exactly how to do this from a one-minute mark (the video actually includes the same Nintendo recommendation held for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, but all the same little tactics still work). Depending on your subscription renewal settings, you may have one or two jump issues, but if you follow each step carefully you will sort it out at any time.

And there we have it, hopefully by now you will be able to access Fire Emblem Warors for free until January 26th. It's not a quick process, but it's worth it when you mean you don't have to pay for a penny, right?
