A couple of days ago and after many years locked up in Japan, it was confirmed that we are finally going to be able to experience the two titles of The Great Ace Attorney en Occidente. As predicted by many rumors, the release of the compilation of the two Nintendo 3DS games in a single title for Nintendo Switch was officially confirmed, which will be released in the West on July 27th.
Well, we get interesting details about it and that is The Great Ace Attorney, is set in England, so it will use a English-style court system.
We leave you their features and some images:
- English court systems have jurors, so The Great Ace Attorney will have them too, with panels of jurors raising their own objections and reaching their own conclusions. However, as this is Ace Attorney, you will have to point your finger and yell to convince them to take your side.
- The summary examination will allow you to persuade the jury by pointing out contradictions and presenting evidence, as always, but this time you will be working against the prosecution and a group of unknown British people.
- The jury system appears similar to the mobster-style court used in Professor Layton v. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
- There is also a ‘Dance of Deduction’, which you will do with Herlock Sholmes, to discover new ideas and facts.
- The game will also include other English / British features and landmarks: from the new prosecutor, who looks like a Victorian vampire, to the detailed renderings of what looks like Piccadilly Circus and King’s Cross Station.
Finally, we remind you of its official description:
