Returnal revealed some cool details on the official page on the PlayStation website.
Return, The outgoing rogue light PS5 shooting game from Housemarque is only a week away from us. Almost all known information about it has been disclosed, including a series of technical details.
The official PlayStation page of the game is very detailed, and has deeply studied the structure, action methods, narrative fragments, and even the dangers encountered during the game.
Developer Housemarque also confirmed that Returnal did use ray tracing in its lighting. The game is rendered in dynamic 4K resolution while maintaining a frame rate of 60fps, which is what the Finnish team usually strives to achieve.
In addition to this, Returnal uses fluid simulation in its impact on the environment and weather, which helps to make each run slightly different. As long-time fans know, particle effects dominate the Housemarque game, and the studio will further promote this development with its new particle animation in a larger proportion than any of its previous games.
Returnal launched on PS5 on April 30th.
