If you are a lover of retro, you are in luck. After the arrival of Evercade, the portable console in 2020, now the arrival of Evercade VS. It is a focused version to be played on a television, using the traditional format.
This new device is able to offer resolutions at 1080p and has support for four controllers
The best of all is that Evercade VS supports the same cartridges as its predecessor and it also allows you to play with two of them inserted at the same time. Good reference is the flap to the NES style that it has. Each of the cartridges allows to save and load without problem, being able to continue and exchange easily between the two consoles.
It supports 4: 3, pixel perfect and full screen modes, as well as different filters. In addition, thanks to its Wi-fi connection, you can receive different updates. If you are not comfortable with the controls of the Evercade VS, you can use third-party ones, like Xbox, 8BitDo and many more.
Even the portable Evercade itself can be used as a controller. While it will have a micro USB power cord, it will not have a wall adapter or HDMI cable.
Blaze Entertainment expects to have more than 280 titles available to play in the Evercade ecosystem at the end of 2021. Of course, the two Namco Museum cartridges cannot be reproduced in VS, since their use is exclusive to the original Evercade.
