Destiny 2 finally allows armor transmogrification or synthesis

When Bungie released the first Destiny, players immediately began asking for an armor transmog system. This would allow them to exchange the appearance of two armors, while maintaining their gameplay characteristics. Now, more than six years later, the transfiguration came to Destiny 2 through the system of Reinforcement synthesis. But the result is not what many expected.

How to change the armor design in Destiny 2?

As Bungie explains on its official blog, these are the steps to follow to perform armor synthesis.

1. Defeat enemies to obtain synthetic yarn / twine (synthstrand).
2. Use Synthesis Threads / Strings in Bounties to Win synthesis string (synthcord).
3. Convert the synthesis string into synthesis tissue (synthweave) at the Tower Loom.
4. Use Synthesis Weaving to convert an unlocked armor skin (Legend quality or lower) from your collections into a universal armor design.

After acquiring 150 Synthesis Threads, players can visit Ada-1 in the Tower to acquire class-specific Bounties, which will reward Synthesis Twine in different training activities. Destiny 2. Of course, we can also get synthesis fabric in the Eververse store by paying with real money.

Why are fans of Destiny 2 are they upset with the transmogrification system (armor synthesis)?

This all sounds good, until we do the math and find out how much we have to ‘grind’ to make a single transfiguration by synthesizing armor from Destiny 2. Unless we pay for the fabrics, it is a process that requires a lot of time and effort.

And if that was not enough, there is a limit to the number of times we can use armor synthesis per season. Initially, you can only have 10 fabrics per class (although an increase to this limit has already been announced for the future). That Universal Skins can only be applied to Legendary armor pieces and not Exotic ones hasn’t been to everyone’s liking either.
