Immortal Fenyx Rising – The Lost Gods is on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One have arrived, offering a new top view, a new hero and new ways to play. The third DLC chapter for Immortal Fenyx Rising focuses again on Greek mythology, in which catastrophic calamities tear the mortal world apart. Fenyx, now a god, chooses a mortal named Ash to find the lost gods of Olympos, reunite the pantheon, and restore balance to the world.
Ash’s adventure unfolds from top to bottom in a new land, Pyrite Island, where Ash must locate Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Boreas, and Hestia and convince them to come home. This of course includes solving lots of environmental puzzles and beating lots of monsters – including the poisonous buried abas and ice-wielding Telchines that are new to the game.
With the top view comes a new bat-inspired approach to combat that offers faster speed and more enemies on screen at the same time. Players can also customize their approach to combat by applying unlockable buffs and other bonuses to Ash’s abilities to create different builds. In addition, Ashes can use new abilities: Nature’s Fury, a continuous ray of destruction that does more damage the longer Ash can keep it going; and disaster quake that knocks down all surrounding enemies with one mighty kick.
Immortal Fenyx Rising – The Lost Gods is available now to Season Pass owners or as a separate purchase from the Xbox Store and can be played whether or not you have completed the main game or the other DLC chapters. (Those new to Fenyx’s adventures can also check out the free demo, which features a self-contained side story specially designed to show what Fenyx can do.)
