Game news Frostpunk: The post-apocalyptic management game transcends a symbolic level
11 Bit Studio took stock of Frostpunk last week. On the occasion of the third anniversary of its title, the developer announced the number of units of its title sold and thanked its community.
The Polish company announced this through a message published on Steam Three million copies of Frostpunk had been sold in three years. It’s still worse than its big brother This War of Mine, which sold 4.5 million units in 2019 (over a five-year period). As a reminder, the game is set in the 19th century in a world that fell victim to a terrible ice age. The player has to manage a group of 80 people who are exposed to hunger, cold, but also depression.
To mark this anniversary, 11-Bit-Studio also took the opportunity to announce the arrival of the soundtrack for Frostpunk’s two expansions: On the Edge of the Abyss and The Last Fall. It is available to all Season Pass holders at no additional cost.
