Velan Studios’ upcoming team dodgebrawl title Knockout City will be free to all EA Play members when it bursts onto the scene on May 21. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass PC members will also have access to the game through EA Play. With over 1 million downloads during the recent beta crossplayKnockout City provides players with intense battles as they master the art of throwing, catching, passing and dodging in a highly competitive experience, with fun surprises popping up around every corner. Starting at launch, all EA Play members (across all platforms) will not only have unlimited access to the full game, with five starter rosters, six special balls, five multiplayer maps, an interactive environment, and much more, but will also be able to Compete in style with an exclusive Epic Outfit: Ready Up, automatically added to your inventory once the game starts. Once equipped, players can plan with their Crew to create a much greater threat by chaining together faster throws or giving the opponent the old one-two punch.
Whether fighting all over the city, from the Rooftop Rumble to the Concussion Yard, Knockout City offers a variety of weapons, including the classic standard ball, the explosive bomb ball, the cage ball for catching, and the gravity-defying moon ball for Take down opponents with style. Additionally, users can change their playlists to make each match interesting, be it solo in a Face-Off match, beating opponents with their Crew in Team KO 3v3, Diamond Dash 3v3, or Ball-Up Brawl 4v4. Those who like head-to-head competition can jump into the KO Chaos, while those looking to settle fights can have a private match on any roster.
Knockout City will be available May 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC on Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S via compatibility, in addition to members of EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Regardless of the platform, the game will support crossplay and cross progression. At launch, players will have access to a free trial for a limited time during which they can enjoy the full experience, and if they later want to continue with the title, they can purchase it for $ 19.99.
