Together with the new add-on Blackwood, The Elder Scrolls Online also gets a new version for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. The developers have now revealed some details.

From June 8th you can immerse yourself in new adventures of the MMORPG in The Elder Scrolls: Blackwood. At the same time, the new version of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, or the corresponding upgrade of the old console versions, will be released. The upgrade will bring a lot of graphical improvements into the game, including reflections, textures, visibility, shadows, depth of field and more.

However, it is also exciting that after the upgrade you have the choice between two graphics modes, namely the quality and the performance mode, between which you can switch at any time, depending on whether graphics or frame rate is more important to you. The features of the respective modes on the new consoles are clearly defined:

The next-gen upgrade The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced is part of Title Update 30 on June 8th and is of course available to owners of the game free of charge.
