A few years ago, Apple surprised us with iPadOS, an operating system designed exclusively for iPad since, as you may recall, before the iPad used iOS, the same operating system that brings life to the Iphone.
Since the last Apple developer event, WWDC, we have been able to know the news of the new version of this operating system, ie iPadOS 14. If you want, you can also read all the news that you will see on your iPad thanks to iPadOS 14.
The latest iPadOS operating system available for beta testing is the latest iPadOS 14.6 update.
Want to try out what’s new in iPadOS 14.6? As you well know, the official public version is not yet available (it probably won’t be for a few months). However, there are beta versions, that is, trial versions, through which you can start using the new operating system.
It is important that you keep in mind that these trial versions are not perfect. In fact, they exist to be able to detect bugs and errors before releasing the official version to the public.
There are also two beta versions, the first is launched exclusively for developers and developers, and the second usually comes a few weeks later, this is the public beta (currently both versions are available).
Risks of installing a beta version of iPadOS
Now, before you get down to business and install the new beta on your iPad, you should keep in mind the risks of installing a non-final version of the operating system.
On the one hand, if you do not install iPadOS beta properly, you could damage your device. However, when you agree to join the public beta program, you agree to install a buggy version and Bugs, which you must report so that Apple can correct them in the official version.
It is important that before performing this process, you make a backup copy of everything you have stored on your iPad. This way you can get everything back in case the installation of the beta does not go well.
And the last thing: despite all the risks, we know that a true fan of Apple and technology will appreciate before anyone else testing a version of a new operating system, even if it has bugs. So if you want to move on, read on on how to install iPadOS beta on your iPad.
