Resident Evil Village is one of the most anticipated games by users in the video game industry. The new title in the Capcom saga will continue to tell the story of Ethan, the protagonist of Resident Evil VII. We already know that everything is ready for the launch of the game on May 7 of this year, so Capcom decided it was time to share the launch trailer for it.
In the trailer we can see Ethan arriving in a snowy village full of villagers who will not be happy to receive him. The one that we can also see in the trailer is Chris Redfield in search of Ethan, a character he met in Resident Evil VII.
The graphics of the game are quite amazing, especially if we consider those of PS5 and Xbox Series S. Capcom’s graphics engine continues to surprise since the release of the Resident Evil 2 remake a couple of years ago.
In Resident Evil Village all the elements of survival horror that we saw in the previous installment will continue to be present, although a bit toned down in search of achieving a balance with the action that the fans requested so much.
A game with elements of the saga’s past
Here we will have references to other players such as the vendor called The Duke which is a clear reference to the peddler from Resident Evil 4 who helped us so much by selling weapons and supplies in the castle.
Another item that is back is Mercenaries mode. This time we will have new characters for this time trial mode in which we will have to fight against a series of zombies.
The combat system was also revamped so that Ethan can perform new actions such as defending himself against attacks or expelling enemies to buy some time when escaping. Without further ado, we leave you with the Resident Evil Village launch trailer.
