Game news Metro Exodus: PS5 and Xbox Series X release date | S for the post apo FPS
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S version of Metro Exodus was first announced and re-released at the end of last year along with a fourth episode! This time around, it’s good news to be able to announce the release date.
Through the new trailer available above, 4A Games revealed the good news: The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions of Metro Exodus will be available starting June 18, 2021. Plus, everything comes as a free update for all players who already have the post-apocalyptic FPS on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This new update brings the 4K, 60fps combination, ray tracing function, reduced loading times and even haptic feedback from the PlayStation 5 controller.
Next-gen consoles benefit from significantly faster load times through the use of their SSD storage optimizations, 4K texture packs, and a number of platform-specific features: spatial audio enhancements and controller latency on the Xbox series, as well as support for DualSense haptics on PlayStation 5.
Players who do not own the game can fall for the Complete Edition version of Metro Exodus. This, in addition to the various improvements mentioned above, will bring together the two main additions to the game released so far: Sam’s Story and The Two Colonels.
