The Xbox Game Pass is getting a prominent new addition. Model barbarian Conan will soon be honored, and there is also a date for the latest expansion.
Isle of Siptah, the latest expansion for the survival game Conan Exiles, got a release date yesterday as part of the Twitch Gaming Show. Accordingly, the add-on will be released on May 27th for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
Isle of Siptah has been in Early Access since mid-December and has had quite a few revisions since then. So the land mass was enlarged and the surroundings made more lively and diverse. A new religion has arrived on the island that allows players to summon and control the avatar of the fearsome spider god Zath.
Three other NPC factions are after Siptah pulled and are now trying to usurp the island. In the east the Stygian mercenaries are rebuilding their old colony, in the western coast the Black Corsairs have built frightening strongholds for their raids and near the unsettling tower in the center of the island people are joining forces with dark creatures. These confused souls are known as “Accursed” and threaten to shroud the entire island in darkness.
And there is more good news. As announced by Funcom, the main game Conan Exiles will be part of Xbox Game Pass, both for PC and console. Subscribers will be able to play the game for free from now on. An exact date for this is to be announced.
