Dark Alliance shows that D&D can be more than Baldur’s Gate
But what you might not know yet: Already 20 years ago there was a game with almost the same name, which at the time was only available for consoles like the PlayStation 2 or the Gamecube. But that should change now, because the first Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is coming this year in a revised version for the PC.
The D&D Diablo is coming to Steam
Last week, on May 7th, 2021, the updated version for PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Xbox One and Series X / S was published. A version for the Nintendo Switch is also planned, but had to be postponed at short notice.
Black Isle Studios have now confirmed that a PC version is also in development and will be released on Steam in the course of 2021.

Details are not yet known, but the development team has promised that Online co-op possible should be. The “Steam Remote Play” technology is to be used for this, as Dark Alliance itself only has a local couch co-op mode.
PC gamers can also look forward to all the improvements to the console version that has already been released. In addition to support from 4K resolution delivers this too 60 frames per second. It is not yet clear whether the FPS limit will also still be present on the PC.
How the whole thing plays out and what it looks like 20 years after the first release can be seen in the trailer:

The Price for the PC version is currently not yet known. We assume, however, that this will be as high as the console sockets that come with 30 Euro to book.
