Game news Stargate Timekeepers: The Cult series returns to PC with RTS
,
If you grew up in the ’90s and early 2000s, you may have watched Colonel O’Neill’s adventures through space on the Stargate SG-1 television series. Already adapted in video games, the license heralds its big comeback.
Indeed, the Stargate will be reactivated soon as Creative Forge Games and Slitherine have just announced Stargate: Timekeepers on PC. No release date is being announced at the moment, but we already know it will be Real time strategy game (RTS or STR), and that the plot will unfold at the end of season 7 from the television series. Forget the idea, however, of playing Colonel O’Neill, Carter, Jackson, or Teal’c, played by Christopher Judge, who later played Kratos in God of War.
The developers want to offer their own story set during the Battle of Antarctica. The players will embody the team of‘Eva McCain who wants to support the legendary squad SG-1. The fans of the series keep their fingers crossed because the previous adaptations, Stargate SG-1: The Alliance and Stargate Resistance, were failures. The MMO is canceled Stargate Worlds, developed by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment.
