PlayStation fans have been able to enjoy great giveaways through the Play at Home program, ranging from top exclusives to popular indie titles. However, during the last month of the Play at Home initiative, PlayStation will change it, giving fans access to free content in various multiplayer games.
Most of this new Play at Home content will be available on the PlayStation Store on May 17. The first item in the bundle listed is a PlayStation Plus bundle for Rocket League, providing fans of the highly competitive game with some exclusive items to add to their garages. Keeping with the PlayStation theme, all items will be blue, with notch wheels, a smoke boost, a rock trail, and a player banner included. Another game that launched with PlayStation Plus will be getting some love, as Destruction AllStars fans can earn 1,100 Destruction Points for free.
The indie fighting game Brawlhalla gets some love too, with a Play at Home bundle unlocking some cool items in the free game. Players can instantly unlock playable legend Rayman along with the Sir Rayelot skin, with ax and gauntlet skins available as well. An emote and a Grimm companion are also included. Rogue Company and World of Tanks also get several items, the first with a special outfit and the second with numerous boosters. Warframe fans can get a new starter pack with credits, platinum, and more.
Some sports games also get some love through the Play at Home initiative, and NBA 2K21 is one of them. Players can get a Home Game bundle with a My Team Series 2 Amethyst Damian Lillard card, instantly giving their teams a huge stat boost. The bundle will also include 5,000 My Team Points, giving players the opportunity to open even more bundles. Despite all the discussion about its appearance on Xbox Game Pass, MLB The Show 21 still receives 10 exclusive card packs on PlayStation platforms.
The endgame included is the ever-popular Call of Duty: Warzone, and it will see players gain access to a massive amount of double XP starting May 20. Although they will arrive three days later than the other Play at Home bonuses, the 5 double XP tokens will be worth the wait as they should allow players to reach 15 prestige before Season 3 ends. Each token is worth one hour full, ensuring 5 hours of double XP is available. The tokens can be claimed through the Message of the Day screen and will be available until June 7.
The announcement of the PlayStation content also reminds fans that Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition remains free until May 14, giving fans one last chance to add the game to their collection. However, with so many games covered in this latest batch of content, Play at Home is clearly coming out strong.
