There are already few brands to present their mobiles this year, but Google is one of them. The Pixel 6 is due in the second half of the year but Jon Prosser, one of the analysts with the best connections in the industry (although he was sometimes wrong) showed on his YouTube channel what this terminal will look like.
The images are recreations made with a computer because, as happened with the Pixel Watch, although Prosser had access to real photographs, he does not have permission to post them, which is necessary to protect its source.
Pixel 6 debuts with radical new design
The first thing that catches your eye is the new design of the terminal, with a fairly conventional front face but with a rear area reminiscent of Project Ara.
In the rear area we have a projection for the camera that curves to the sides but prevents the mobile from shaking when placed on the table. The color of this area is also noticeable, with a white in the lower part and a very striking orange in the upper part.
And beware, because it will not come alone, there will be a Pro version.
Double and triple camera
As can be seen in the image, the main aesthetic difference between the Pixel 6 and the 6 Pro is the camera. The normal has two on the back, and for the first time we have three cameras on the back of a Pixel, specifically the 6 Pro.
At least one of the models will have an under-display fingerprint sensor, something that hasn’t been seen in a Pixel until now.
And no, we don’t know what features they will have, but remember that it is assumed that Google will launch their own processor this year, which will be a big milestone for them. What could be better than presenting it on a mobile with a radical new design.
There is still a lot to know, but it looks like Google has taken a leap forward and this year it will bring us a top of the line, at least it seems. It remains to be seen.
