A pair of ’80s action heroes come to the Call of Duty franchise. John McClane and John Rambo both go to Call of Duty: War Zone, Black Ops Cold War, and call of Duty Cell phone, mobile phone this month as part of the Season 3 Mid-Season Update. Activision teased these new characters on social media ahead of the reveal. The update should arrive on May 20th.
Rambo and McClane both have iconic weapons that could bring them to Call of Duty Rambo’s composite bow and explosive arrows. More traditional, John McClane is known for his pistol and machine gun. Fans have shared pictures of the two characters in-game online, although some fans note that the models look a little different.
Nakatomi Plaza can also be seen in Activision’s teaser image of the office building Die Hard occur. It was the location of a back and forth battle between McClane and a gang of terrorists led by Hans Gruber that would make it appropriate for a possible card in the game.
