Sam & Max Save The World – Remastered it’s an adventure title and point & click which brings back Freelance Police and his most animal detective partner in the world of comics in a remastered version with much affection to current times by some of its developers in the old Telltale Games. It is a story full of humor and some other challenging puzzle based on the characters of Steve Purcell. This remastering features modernized graphics, support for widescreen displays and compatible controllers, five new music tracks, and more.
Well, we get news about this title and it is that a demo is now available on Nintendo Switch, which will undoubtedly cheer up gamers who were interested in the title, but were undecided. As shared, these are its characteristics:
- Includes “almost” the entire first episode.
- Saved progress can be carried over to the full game.
We remind you of his premise and his trailer:
Together they are the independent Police. And they are about to save the world.
In 2006, Sam & Max, the crime-fighting comic book couple, starred in the first entirely episode game for Telltale, the studio that later created The Walking Dead and Batman: The Enemy Within.
Everyone’s favorite dog and rabbit thing are now back in Sam & Max Save the World Remastered. This remake of the first season of episodic games has been lovingly improved by a small group of its original developers, and has the approval of Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell.
One more day in the office of the self-proclaimed Independent Police. Suddenly, the commissioner calls with disturbing news: former child stars are wreaking havoc on the streets! What starts out as a simple case of idiotic vandalism turns into a massive conspiracy as Sam & Max come across one criminal after another, all mysteriously hypnotized. (You can tell by the turns their eyes make).
Who is behind all this? And what is his miserable plan? Solving the case will require Sam’s detective nose, Max’s lack of conscience, an assortment of inventory items, and a little help from his neighbors Sybil Pandemik, Bosco, and Jimmy Two-Teeth. From Sam & Max Street to the White House Lawn, to the Internet and to the moon, this puzzling mystery grows crazier and funnier as it unfolds.
Go back to the adventure game that people knew as “the first comic series of video games” and that today is known as “the remastering you didn’t know you were waiting for.” Featuring improved graphics, Joy-Con ™ compatibility and touchscreen, an original jazz soundtrack with five new songs, the same head-spinning puzzles, and the same eccentric humor from the one that once won the IGN’s Best Adventure Game of the Year Award, Sam & Max Save the World Remastered is a modern classic that will feel right at home in your Nintendo Switch ™ library.
Finally, remind you that for collectors, there are still physical editions available through Limited Run Games.
Sam & Max Save the World – Resmastered is available from December 2, 2020 on Nintendo Switch. Currently the full game has a 20% discount until May 31 on the Switch eShop, so it can be purchased for 13,59$ (Its usual price is $ 16.99).
