Social network Twitter was pretty easy to add functionality to our devices which they launched on iOS and on their website in the summer of 2019. After almost two years of waiting, the Private message search bar comes on Android.
This was announced by Twitter, which has started activating the direct messages search engine in its official Android app, also announcing that more news for this search bar will be arriving throughout the year.
The Twitter MD search bar
The arrival of the private message search bar is good news for users who frequently use private conversations, as it will allow them to find your cats more easily.
We introduced the DM Search Bar on Android and are rolling out an improved version that lets you search all of your old conversations, not just the most recent.
Are you waiting for the possibility of searching your DMs for the content of the message? We are working on releasing it later this year! https://t.co/wAQxSokJt6

Twitter is gradually activating this new feature through their servers, so updating the app will not guarantee that we will have your new Private message search engine
At the moment, and as it happens in the web and iOS versions, the search bar is only used search for people and groups. At this time, that doesn’t allow you to search for messages, but that will change in the coming months.
The social network Twitter announced will allow you to search for messages to facilitate the search in which conversation (s) a certain text has been sent. This new option will arrive throughout this year.
