EA has one almost 9 GB update released for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. This fixes problems on all platforms. Specifically, the patch brings graphics improvements, more stability and some bug fixes.
The first patch improves the PC version
Among other things, the patch improves the terrain textures in Mass Effect 1, which should be good for the planets that can be explored with the Mako. Fixes for cut scenes and achievements
For Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, the touched the pre-rendered cutscenes againto reduce isolated artifacts. Some players on Steam also criticize the fact that ultrawide support does not work properly in cutscenes. However, the developers are not addressing this problem. In Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, light and shadow are also optimized in some cinematics and in some levels rendering and effects are fine-tuned. In addition, the achievements should now also trigger correctly here.
Annoying headset bug partially fixed
Anyone who plays on the Xbox Series X can also be happy that a particularly annoying mistake is a thing of the past. It made the launcher freeze or crash when using a wireless headset. However, the bug can still occur if you switch the headset on and off.
