The Xiaomi-Marke Poco has a new one with the Poco M3 Pro Budget-Handy announced. It is a drilled-out version of the 150-euro cell phone Poco M3, which went on sale in November 2020.
Poco M3 vs. M3 Pro: What’s the Difference?
First of all, the Poco M3 Pro offers a new processor. Instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, the Pro version uses the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. This is a bit more powerful, but above all supports the new 5G cellular standard.
The screen of the two mobile phones measures 6.53 inches diagonally and has a full HD + resolution. However, the two displays are not identical. While the screen of the M3 only shows images with a maximum of 60 Hertz, the display of the M3 Pro also supports a refresh rate of 90 Hertz.

Xiaomi has slimmed down the battery. The Poco M3 Pro now only offers a 5,000 mAh battery and no longer a 6,000 mAh battery. But the Pro model is also a bit narrower and lighter than the regular M3. The Poco M3 Pro offers one for this NFC-Chip, so is also Pay with your mobile phone possible.
When will the Poco M3 Pro 5G be available?
The pre-sale of the Poco M3 Pro 5G will start in Germany on 20. May. Xiaomi has not yet given a time for this. Pre-orders are only possible via the manufacturer’s website. From May 27th you can officially buy the Poco M3 Pro 5G in Germany. It will then also be offered at other dealers.
How much does the Poco M3 Pro 5G cost?
Xiaomi offers the Poco M3 Pro 5G in two versions. In the version with 4 GB of working memory and 64 GB of device memory, the mobile phone costs 199.90 dollars, with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage it costs 229.90 dollars. Who that Poco M3 Pro pre-ordered, but gets it much cheaper. Until May 27, Xiaomi is only asking 159.90 dollars for the 64 GB version and 179.90 dollars for the 128 GB version.
