How to create an iCloud account from any device

Creating an iCloud account is the first step to take when starting out with Apple products. This is the account we’ll use to sync our photos, use iMessage or FaceTime, rent or buy movies, and much more. We can create this very important account from any Apple device and even without them, let’s see how to do it.

How to create an iCloud account on our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

The easiest way to create an iCloud account on our first iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is when we are configuring the device for the first time. The moment we are prompted to sign in with our account, we simply touch Forgot your Apple ID or password?. Then the steps are as follows:

1. We played on Create a free Apple ID.
2. We select our date of birth and enter our name and requested details.
3. We are pressing following.
4. Click on Use your current address if we want to use an existing email or Get a free iCloud address.

If in step four we have chosen the first option, we will be asked to let’s check the email address. Then we can set up two factor authentication and we will have our iCloud account created.

If for some reason we skipped this step during setup from our new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, we can create an iCloud account from the app App Store. The steps are as follows:

1. We open the app Apple Store on our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
2. We touch the button with a face at the top right.
3. Click on Create a new Apple ID.
4. We select our date of birth and enter our name, email address and requested information.
5. We are pressing following.
6. We enter our credit card details. We can choose Nothing if we want to give this information later.
7. We are pressing following.
8. We enter and confirm our phone number.

At the end of the process, we will receive an email to verify that the address entered is ours. In the same e-mail appears a link to verify accountAfter tapping on it, our iCloud account will be ready to use.

How to create an iCloud account on our Mac

From our new Mac, we can also create an iCloud account. Same as on iPhone or iPad we will do it from the app Apple Store. The exact steps are as follows:

1. We open the app Apple Store on our Mac.
2. We pressed the button Start session at the bottom left.
3. Click on Apple Crear ID.
4. We select our date of birth and enter our name, email address and requested information.
5. We are pressing following.
6. We enter our credit card details. We can choose Nothing if we want to give this information later.

As before, it is necessary confirm that the address entered belongs to us by clicking on the button for this purpose in the email we will receive in our inbox.

How to create an iCloud account on our Windows PC

On a Windows PC, we can also create an iCloud account. The steps are very similar to the ones we have already seen, the only difference is that We will do it download and install the iTunes app For windows. Then the steps are as follows:

1. We open the app itunes on our PC.
2. In the menu bar, we tap on account and then on Start session.
3. Click on Create a new Apple ID

As before, we will receive a confirmation email at the email address we entered. We just click on the link to check that it belongs to us.

How to create an iCloud account from other devices

We can create an iCloud account from any device with a browser. We’ll just visit appleid.apple.com and tap on Create your Apple ID at the top of the page. Then we fill in our name, region, date of birth, email address, phone number and click continue. After confirming our phone number and email address, the iCloud account is ready for use.
