Game news Halo: The 2002 version finally in the Master Chief Collection
Remember that in September 2003, almost a year after the Xbox version of Halo: Combat Evolved, the PC version of the game was released. Unfortunately, this port, which was created by the developers of Gearbox (Borderlands), brought some graphical errors with it that have not yet been resolved ten years later. We can also find these issues in the Master Chief Collection, but today those worries are finally resolved.
Good news, therefore, today, almost 20 years after the launch of Halo: Combat Evolved on PC, the title is finally getting fixed on this gaming platform … well, if you go through the inside version of the Master Chief Collection of the game. The very last insider update of this compilation finally fixes the various bugs that have been damaging the title for almost 20 years.
Note that these changes are currently only available in the Insider version of the game. However, we assume that the public version of the Master Chief Collection will receive these fixes in the near future.
